Capitals' Braden Holtby: Brillant in shootout loss to Lightning
Holtby allowed just one power-play goal, stopping 32 of 33 shots, in a 2-1 shootout loss to the Lightning on Saturday.
Analysis:
Washington continues to struggle offensively, and it cost Holtby owners a win in this one. The Capitals have dropped from second to 14th in goals per game from last season to 2016-17. Holtby's numbers are just as good as they have been in the past -- 2.16 GAA and a .922 save percentage -- but the lack of offense could mean Holtby doesn't come close to 48 wins like last season.
