Sharks' Ryan Carpenter: Sent back to minors

Carpenter was reassigned to the AHL Barracuda on Saturday.

Analysis:

The undrafted rookie lit the lamp for his first career goal Wednesday, and he's been rather physical with eight hits over the past three games. Carpenter's reassignment to the minors makes sense, though, as the Baby Sharks have two games on the schedule before the parent club next hits the ice Dec. 7 for a home game against the Senators.
