Canadiens' Alexander Radulov: Suffers cut over right eye
Radulov was forced to leave Friday's 2-1 loss to San Jose after getting cut above his right eye when a stick got under his shield, Pat Hickey of the Montreal Gazette reports.
Analysis:
The Sharks' Logan Couture caught Radulov with his stick, forcing the Canadiens winger to the locker room where he was administered stitches. The incident, for which Couture was assessed a double minor, occurred late in the third period and Radulov was unable to join his teammates for a late push. Radulov, sporting a few stitches over his eye following the game, said it looked scary but he was fine. We presume he'll be able to play Sunday afternoon against the Kings.
