Blue Jackets' Zach Werenski: Named Rookie of Month for November

Werenski was named the NHL's Rookie of the Month for November, The Columbus Dispatch reports.

Analysis:

He piled up three goals, 10 points and a plus-4 rating in 14 games on the month, and beat out the likes of Patrik Laine and Mitch Marner for the award. Werenski is the fourth Blue Jacket in franchise history to win Rookie of the Month honors, but the first since Derick Brassard and Steve Mason combined for three straight to begin the 2008-09 season.
