Blues' Jori Lehtera: Dropped to third line

Lehtera was moved down to the third line for Thursday's game against the Lightning, Tom Timmerman of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Analysis:

In order to accommodate the return of Alexander Steen (upper body) to the lineup, coach Ken Hitchcock moved Lehtera to third-line center while Steen centered the second line between Robby Fabbri and Vladimir Tarasenko. With Tarasenko recording the third hat trick of his career, the move paid off nicely for the coach. Lehtera, now skating with Patrick Berglund (seven points, 24 games) and Dmitri Jaskin (five, 22), will see his scoring opportunities reduced. St. Louis' third line has been a black hole of offense this season.
