Panthers' Roberto Luongo: Narrowly edges Red Wings

Luongo stopped 20 of 21 shots from Detroit through overtime Thursday, ultimately hanging on for his ninth win of the season.

Analysis:

Luongo had the good fortune of Aleksander Barkov busting out on a breakaway with a little razzle-dazzle past Petr Mrazek in the overtime frame. Interestingly enough, four of the last seven starts made by Bobby Lu have gone into overtime or beyond -- he's only lost one of those decisions (a shootout against the Blackhawks last Tuesday). Fantasy owners can start Luongo with confidence, as he's 9-6-1 on the season to complement a 2.04 GAA and .930 save mark.
