Penguins' Chris Kunitz: Kunitz out Thursday

Kunitz (lower body) is making progress, according to coach Mike Sullivan, but he will not play Thursday against the Stars.

Analysis:

The winger will have to wait until Saturday for a possible return. Kunitz has stated that he wants to be fully healthy when he comes back, and this gives him that chance. Jake Guentzel will likely continue to play top-six minutes in his absence.
