Red Wings' Tomas Tatar: Does little in November

Tatar had a forgettable November, pitching in only two goals and three assists with a minus-5 rating in 13 games.

Analysis:

Despite averaging a career-high 17:20 of ice time, Tatar has been anything but saucy for the injury-depleted Red Wings this campaign. The guy owns a 12.4 shooting percentage over five seasons and counting, but he's misfired on 48 shots so far, leaving his conversion rate on attempts at 5.9, which would only be an acceptable mark for a defenseman. Worse yet, the Czech has only registered one power-play tally -- an assist -- and his numbers aren't likely to improve until the team gets healthy again and coach Jeff Blashill is able to give him the same linemates for a sustained period of time. Tatar has recently worked with captain Henrik Zetterberg and Anthony Mantha on the top line, but he's still been held pointless in the last four games.
