Coyotes' Louis Domingue: Ready to serve as backup

Domingue (lower body) was activated off injured reserve Thursday and will back up Mike Smith against the Kings, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.

Analysis:

Domingue was out of the lineup for three games while dealing with this ailment. Given his struggles this season, he'll likely spend the bulk of his time on the bench in favor of No. 1 Mike Smith. With two healthy goalies, the 'Yotes returned Justin Peters to AHL Tucson.
