Analysis:
The defender played well after sitting out one game as a healthy scratch, registering a season-high four hits while adding three shots on goal. He also jumped into the offense, feathering a pretty saucer pass across the slot for an easy Evgeni Malkin tap-in goal. Look for Dumoulin to remain in the lineup Thursday in light of his improved play.
