It feels like Beauchemin has been around forever, but the 36-year-old is "only" in his 13th NHL season. He's still averaging over 20 minutes of ice time per game, but has largely disappointed offensively after last year's 34-point showing. His 43 blocked shots amount to a pace of 168 over a full season, which significantly lags behind the 256 he racked up in 2015-16, so it appears Beauchemin's starting to feel his age.
