Varlamov will get his first chance at redemption after allowing five goals against the Oilers on Nov. 23. It's been a rough start to the season for the 28-year-old, who's 5-9-0 with a disappointing .904 save percentage. Backup Calvin Pickard is challenging for starts, which puts the pressure on Varlamov to right the ship as soon as possible.
