Senators' Bobby Ryan: Ruled out Thursday

Ryan (hand) will be out of the lineup Thursday against the Flyers, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Citizen reports.

Analysis:

Ryan, who left Tuesday's matchup early, previously missed two games with this ailment and will now be sidelined for at least one more. In four contests while playing hurt, the winger garnered a pair of assists, which gives him eight points on the year. The 29-year-old is off to an extremely slow start, so perhaps taking another game or two off to clear his head and get his body right isn't a bad idea.
