Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Bulges twine Tuesday

Larkin fired home his seventh goal of the season in a 3-1 win over Dallas on Tuesday.

Analysis:

Larkin's tally came with the man advantage late in the first period, tying the game 1-1 before the intermission. The youngster is starting to look like an early candidate for hockey's "Cy Young Award" with seven goals and only one assist, as he hasn't dished out a helper since the very first game of the season against the Lightning. Given Larkin's slow start, he'll need to put in some serious work the rest of the way if he wants to get within earshot of the 22 goals and 45 points he put up as a rookie last year.
