Penguins' Chris Kunitz: Out Wednesday but nearing return

Kunitz (lower body) won't play Wednesday, but he could return as soon as Thursday or Saturday, DK Pittsburgh Sports reports.

Analysis:

He was a full participant in Tuesday's practice, but Kunitz said he has "more improvement to go." Coach Mike Sullivan also noted that Kunitz is closer to returning than when he recently labeled the winger week-to-week, so later this week certainly isn't out of the question.
