Sabres' Robin Lehner: Leaves first period of win

Lehner left the game Tuesday with an undisclosed ailment after stopping five of six shots in just 17:48 of ice time.

Analysis:

The Sabres welcomed back Jack Eichel on Tuesday, but now they have another issue to worry about. Despite a shiny .924 save percentage in November, Lehner's had a lot of trouble winning, as that work's resulted in just a 3-5-2 record. If the 25-year-old is forced to miss an extended period, Anders Nilsson (26 saves in relief) would likely take over No. 1 duties in the Buffalo net.
