Canucks' Jacob Markstrom: Turns aside 33 in win

Markstrom stopped 33 of 35 shots in a 3-2 shootout win over the Avalanche on Saturday.

Analysis:

Markstrom has emerged victorious in two of his last three starts, allowing just four goals on 71 shots in the pair of victories. His save percentage is now back over the .900 plateau (.902) with an improving 2.73 GAA -- which are pretty close to Ryan Miller's .910 and 2.67 marks -- so it'll be interesting to see if either goalie breaks away from the timeshare as the calendar flips to December.
