Kings' Marian Gaborik: Active for Saturday's contest with Blackhawks

Gaborik (foot) took the ice for pre-game warmups and will be active for Saturday's matchup with the Blackhawks, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.

Analysis:

Gaborik had been a game-time decision after being activated from IR on Saturday, but there remains little question that the right winger is game-ready now. The 34-year-old will likely be worked into the rotation slowly as he's been out of game action for nine weeks since breaking his foot during the World Cup of Hockey, but there's no question the Czech can produce points in bunches as he's tallied 69 over his last two seasons with the Kings.
