Canucks' Jacob Markstrom: Gets starting nod for Saturday's contest

Analysis:

Markstrom has struggled of late, posting a 1-1-1 record with an ugly 4.18 GAA and .860 save percentage over his last three appearances. The Swedish backstop will look to get back on track in a favorable road matchup with an Avalanche team that has had a tough time scoring at home, having averaged just 2.22 goals per game in its own barn this season, 27th in the NHL.
