Penguins' Matt Murray: Murray makes short work of Rangers

Murray stopped 16 shots in a 6-1 victory over the Rangers on Wednesday.

Analysis:

After allowing a power-play goal five minutes into the game, he stopped Rick Nash on a 2-on-1 breakaway to keep the early deficit at just one goal. Murray saw only four shots in the third period. In fact, the Rangers failed to muster a single shot for 23:59 during one span from the second period into the third. The second-year netminder has won six of seven starts since returning from his season-opening hand injury, and he should continue taking more and more work from Marc-Andre Fleury.
