Blackhawks' Corey Crawford: Looking for better results against San Jose
Crawford was named the road starter for Wednesday's contest against the Sharks, Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Analysis:
Crawford was shelled in his last start Monday, allowing five goals on 27 shots on the road against Edmonton. Chicago's defensive corps has done a fairly good job of keeping the puck from reaching its No. 1 tender, as he's barely seen an average of 26 shots per game over the last six. Even with Monday's rough start and a four-goal misstep against Winnipeg last week, Crawford owns an 8-2-2 record, 2.02 GAA and .933 save mark over his last dozen games.
