Sabres' Ryan O'Reilly: Still sidelined

O'Reilly (oblique) did not end up playing in Saturday's shootout win over the Penguins.

Analysis:

While O'Reilly is thought to be getting close to a return -- something the low-scoring Sabres desperately need -- it was his brother Cal that played the unlikely hero Saturday in the surprise win over the Stanley Cup champs. Ryan has a chance to return to action next week, and we'll check in on his status Monday ahead of Buffalo's home match vs. Calgary.
