Penguins' Patric Hornqvist: Won't suit up Friday

Hornqvist (concussion) is not in the lineup for Friday night's road game against the Islanders.

Analysis:

With concussions being taken very seriously nowadays, it would have been something of a surprise to see Hornqvist suit up just two nights after sustaining one. Considering the lengthy absences that players like Patrick Sharp have taken this season due to concussions, it's far from a certainty that Hornqvist will play Saturday in Buffalo but it's still a possibility.
