Avalanche's Matt Duchene: Ruled out Thursday

Duchene (concussion) will not play Thursday night against the Stars, Terry Frei of The Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

This will be the third consecutive absence for the alternate captain, but fantasy owners can take solace in the fact that he was even in consideration to play. Duchene will be reevaluated ahead of Saturday's road game against the Wild.
