Devils' Taylor Hall: Looking at 3-4 week injury layoff

Hall could miss approximately 3-to-4 weeks with a left knee injury. Per Andrew Gross of The Record, the star winger has been placed on injured reserve.

Analysis:

This is terrible news for the Devils and fantasy owners alike. The Alberta native has been involved in 12 scoring plays through 14 games this season -- his first in New Jersey -- sharing the team lead with defenseman Damon Severson. Expect P.A. Parenteau to claim top-line duties at left wing in Hall's stead.
