Ducks' Corey Perry: Dishes out pair of helpers Tuesday
Perry garnered two assists in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the visiting Oilers.
Analysis:
The veteran sniper has taken on more of a playmaking role this season, as he's now up to 11 apples to go with just four goals in 17 games. It's not like Perry hasn't been throwing a ton of rubber on net per usual (52 shots on goal), but the puck just hasn't been going in for him; in fact, he last scored 10 games ago, way back on Oct. 26. Despite the lack of lamp-lighters, the 31-year-old has still rolled along at a near point-per-game pace (15 in 17), so owners shouldn't have too much to complain about as long as they didn't reach for him in drafts.
