Hurricanes' Justin Faulk: Cleared to return

Faulk will suit up Tuesday against San Jose, Chip Alexander of the Raleigh News & Observer reports.

Analysis:

Faulk has been sidelined for the last three contests. Prior to the injury, the defenseman was left off the scoresheet in three straight matchups, but he should be able to end his scoring drought soon. Given the lack of scoring from the back end, Faulk will likely resume his spot on the Carolina power play as one of the only offensively minded blueliners on the team.
