Rangers' Henrik Lundqvist: Fares poorly in surprise appearance

Lundqvist was inserted into Tuesday's game against Vancouver late in the third period, and he allowed two goals on six shots en route to a 5-3 loss.

Analysis:

Antti Raanta was pulled by an independent concussion spotter, so Lundqvist made a surprise appearance on his day off -- and he didn't fare well, although the extenuating circumstances seem to call for forgiveness. Look for Lundqvist to get back in as the starter Saturday in Calgary.
