Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Chased by Rangers in second period

Hellebuyck couldn't quite finish out two periods before he was pulled from Sunday's loss after letting the Rangers score four goals on 16 shots.

Analysis:

This was a 1-1 game until the two teams (but mostly the Rangers) turned it into a shooting gallery over a seven-minute stretch of second-period action; even removing Hellebuyck didn't fix that, as Michael Hutchinson gave up a goal mere seconds after entering. It's hard to find positives in this one for the 23-year-old netminder, as he was beaten cleanly on three of those four goals. Considering both Jets netminders have been something far less than impressive this season, their timeshare ought to continue.
