Ducks' Ryan Getzlaf: Takes line rushes in warmups

Getzlaf (upper body) took line rushes in advance of Sunday's game against the Flames and appears set to play, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.

Analysis:

The Ducks' captain assumed his regular spot atop the first line with Corey Perry and Nick Ritchie, who is also returning from an upper-body ailment. Getzlaf sat out two games with the issue but given that he was a game-time decision at Sunday's morning skate, there shouldn't be much doubt now about his impending return. He has nine points through nine games this season.
