Oilers' Zack Kassian: Ruled out for Sunday

Kassian (undisclosed) will not be available for Sunday's game against the Red Wings, Oilers play-by-play announcer Jack Michaels reports.

Analysis:

Kassian will join the laundry list of injured players that are unavailable or could be unavailable for Sunday's contest, leaving Edmonton's cupboard a bit bare. Taylor Beck was recalled from AHL Bakersfield and is in line to draw into the lineup for the evening's contest. The winger tallied just eight points in 36 games last season but has gotten off to a decent start in 2016-17, notching four points (two goals two assists) in 12 games despite seeing limited ice time.
