Canadiens' Carey Price: Restores normalcy in Montreal
Price stopped 34 of 38 shots, backstopping the Canadiens to a 5-4 win over the Flyers on Saturday.
Analysis:
One day after Montreal was pummeled 10-0 by the Blue Jackets, Price restored order to the Canadiens. The four goals allowed were a season high, but he didn't get much help from his mates. The Flyers outshot the Habs 38-17, including 15-3 in the second period. It was the fifth consecutive game that an opponent has had more shots than Montreal. The Habs also allowed two power-play goals one night after ceding four goals to Columbus while on the penalty kill. Yes, they are 10-1-1 and lead the NHL with 21 points, but there may be some underlying issues lurking beneath that which are ofted mask by Price.
