Kings' Jeff Zatkoff: Remains inactive Saturday with groin injury

Zatkoff (groin) is out for Saturday's matchup with the Flames, OwnersBox NHL reports.

Analysis:

Zatkoff was upgraded to day-to-day Friday leading to speculation that'd he'd be available Saturday but it appears the netminder will need a little extra time to recuperate from the injury that's kept him sidelined for the past eight games. It remains to be seen how the Kings will divvy up playing time with Peter Budaj once Zatkoff becomes available regularly.
