Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Pushes shootout to nine rounds
Vasilevskiy made 28 saves through overtime and then pushed the shootout to 10 rounds in a 4-3 loss to Boston on Thursday night.
Analysis:
Vasilevskiy was a beast in the shootout. The 22-year-old is quickly demonstrating that he can successfully patrol the blue paint as a starter. Ben Bishop stands in his path, so he'll need to bide his time until the Bolts' current No. 1 moves on, either later this season or in the offseason. Until then, Vasilevskiy is a great handcuff and a strong start in daily formats when he gets the call.
