Senators' Mike Condon: Suiting up for team debut Thursday
Condon will make his Senators debut Thursday night, taking on the Canucks at home, TSN's Bruce Garrioch reports.
Analysis:
The Senators gave the Penguins a 2017 fifth-round draft pick for Condon on Wednesday. Ottawa desperately needs a stable presence in net with starter Craig Anderson (personal) and No. 2 tender Andrew Hammond (lower body) unavailable. Condon was used for just one relief appearance with the Pens, but proved with the Habs in 2015-16 that he could at least handle a large volume of starts, going 21-25-6 with a 2.71 GAA and .903 save percentage as the primary fill-in option for then-injured Carey Price.
