Ducks' Rickard Rakell: In Anaheim

Rakell (personal) is skating with the Ducks after resolving a visa issue that was preventing him from joining the team.

Analysis:

Rakell is not quite game ready, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports, as he continues to recover from offseason surgery to remove scar tissue from his abdomen. The 23-year-old will probably need to get a few practices under his belt in order to get his legs back under him. Once he's cleared to return, the center figures to be a big offensive contributor after snagging 20 goals and 43 points in 72 games last season.
