Bruins' Tuukka Rask: Not traveling with team

Rask (undisclosed) did not join the Penguins for their trip to New York and will miss Wednesday's matchup with the Rangers, Dan Rosen of NHL.com reports.

Analysis:

Rask is undefeated through three games this season with a 1.68 GAA. After seeing their reserve goalies shelled by the Wild on Tuesday, the Bruins faithful will be chomping at the bit to get the 29-year-old back between the pipes as soon as possible. While he remains without a timeline to return, coach Claude Julien did not rule Rask out for Saturday's matchup with the Red Wings.
