Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: Finds magic with Sidney Crosby

Malkin tallied a power-play assist Tuesday against the Panthers.

Analysis:

He found Sidney Crosby coming down the slot with a pretty primary helper as the Penguins mounted a comeback against Florida. Coach Mike Sullivan substituted Bryan Rust with Phil Kessel at even strength on Malkin's line in an effort to find offense. Although Malkin's preseason draft spot slipped, he has two goals and four assists in seven games, which is close to the point-per-game production he's offered throughout his 10 previous NHL campaigns.
