Kings' Peter Budaj: Nets third consecutive victory

Budaj held the Jackets to two goals on 21 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime victory.

Analysis:

He gave up the first goal of the game and let the Jackets take a pair of leads, but the Kings' offense fought back and the defense didn't let the opposition get too many good looks. Budaj's won three consecutive games since being pressed into duty by the injuries sustained by No. 1 and 2 netminders Jonathan Quick and Jeff Zatkoff, but he ought to credit the Los Angeles offense for all three -- the 34-year-old has managed only an .879 save mark in that span.
