Blue Jackets' Sergei Bobrovsky: Suffers overtime loss against Kings

Bobrovsky stopped 27 of 30 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Kings.

Analysis:

He blew a one-goal lead in the second period and then another one in the third, and the Jackets were unable to perform as well as you'd hope against jumped-up third-string netminder Peter Budaj. After a five-goal season opener, Bobrovsky got into a groove over the next three games, posting a .961 save percentage while allowing just four total goals, and it's hard to fault him for taking an ostensible step back in this one. If his offense had been the one to come through with more than two goals in 60-plus minutes, Bob's stat line from this game would look very different.
