Bruins' Tuukka Rask: Ruled out Tuesday

Rask (undisclosed) will not play in Tuesday night's matchup with the Wild, Joe Haggerty of CSN New England reports.

Analysis:

With Rask still day-to-day and usual backup Anton Khudobin (upper body) placed on injured reserve Tuesday, former first-round pick Malcolm Subban will get the start against Minnesota with fellow minor leaguer Zane McIntyre serving as the backup. Rask was red hot to begin the season, winning all three of his starts while posting a 1.68 GAA and a .947 save percentage. He should be even more motivated to get healthy now that the Bruins are facing a dire situation with their netminders.
