Blue Jackets' Joonas Korpisalo: May return in 7-10 days

Korpisalo (groin) is traveling with the team on their three-game California road trip and skating every day, Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch reports.

Analysis:

Korpisalo also says he's feeling better and could be ready to rejoin the lineup in 7-to-10 days. Thankfully for the Jackets, workhorse Sergei Bobrovsky has been great to open the season with a .935 save percentage while starting in all five games. Curtis McElhinney is the current backup behind Bobrovksy, and it's unclear at this point whether the Jackets will carry three netminders, or send either McElhinney or Korpisalo down to AHL Cleveland once Korpisalo is healthy.
