Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Stuck in rut

Larkin hasn't recorded a point since the Oct. 13 season opener, plus he's skated to a minus-4 rating over the first six games.

Analysis:

Larkin is known for his blazing speed, which helps him slice through the attacking zone, but opponents are managing to get under his skin in the early going. The Michigan native had 34 PIM in 80 games last campaign, yet he's already spent 11 minutes in the box from four penalties in 2016-17. Be patient with Larkin as he figures out the best way to let his play do the talking.
