Flyers' Michael Del Zotto: Slated to return when first eligible

Del Zotto (lower body) will take to the ice again Monday and is expected to rejoin the lineup when first eligible on Nov. 5 against the Canadiens, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Analysis:

Del Zotto was on track to be ready for Opening Night after undergoing wrist surgery in February, but suffered a lower-body injury in early October that was expected to cost him 4-to-5 weeks. The blueliner has had issues staying healthy in previous seasons, but is capable of providing a fair amount of offensive production when on the ice.
