Wild's Darcy Kuemper: Allows five in loss Sunday

Kuemper gave up five goals on 32 shots in a 6-3 loss to the Islanders on Sunday. The sixth was an empty-netter.

Analysis:

It was a lackluster showing from the Wild's backup netminder in this one, especially for a 3:04 stretch in the second period when he allowed three goals. Kuemper won't play a ton behind Devan Dubnyk in the State of Hockey, and even when he does, he's been a below average spot-start option for the past couple seasons.
