Oilers' Darnell Nurse: Grabs his first of the year outdoors
Nurse scored his first goal of the season during Sunday's Heritage Classic win over the Jets.
Analysis:
All in all, it was a solid game for the 21-year-old defender. He gave owners a goal, a plus-1 rating, two penalty minutes, and a shot. However, he only saw 16:38 of ice time, the lowest mark among team defensemen. Even if Nurse gets his offensive contributions rolling in, the lack of opportunity might stand in his way. He's not on the power play and his defensive lapses will limit his ice time.
