Blues' David Perron: Chapeau for Perron

Perron scored three goals and assisted on another in a 6-4 win over the Flames on Saturday. His first goal came on the power play and his third was the game-winner.

Analysis:

Perron, who was pointless in the first five games, told reporters that he felt he was playing well but not getting the results. Obviously, his fortunes changed Saturday when he registered the third hat trick of his career. Perron has been moved around a bit to start the season, but Saturday skated on a line with Jaden Schwartz and Vladimir Tarasenko, an assignment that is conducive to points and will likely continue given that unit's production against Calgary (14 of the team's 39 shots).
