Islanders' Nick Leddy: Should play Sunday

Leddy (upper body) was able to practice Saturday and is now expected to play Sunday versus Minnesota, Arthur Staple of Newsday reports.

Analysis:

It was originally thought that Leddy would miss more than one game with the injury but with Ryan Pulock going down with a broken foot the Isles are short a defender. Leddy has had a rough start to the season with a minus-7 rating and will look to turn it around Sunday.
