Wild's Joel Eriksson-Ek: Promoted to big club

The Wild recalled Eriksson-Ek from AHL Iowa on Saturday.

Analysis:

Erik Haula (lower body) may not be available for Saturday's game against the Devils, so Eriksson-Ek was brought up to the big club as an insurance policy in case Haula isn't able to go. The 19-year-old Swede is a gifted two-way player with a knack for scoring big goals, and already has one goal in one game with AHL Iowa this season. If Haula isn't able to play against New Jersey, Eriksson-Ek will almost certainly be making his NHL debut Saturday evening.
