Blues' Carl Gunnarsson: Back in action Saturday

Gunnarsson (upper body) will return to the lineup Saturday night against the Flames, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Analysis:

Gunnarsson will be on the second pair with Kevin Shattenkirk. At first glance, that seems like an ideal arrangement considering Shattenkirk is an excellent passer, but there's not much inherent upside with Gunner as his primary role is shutting down the opposition.
